WPS Parking Systems adds Shift4’s DOLLARS ON THE NET Payment Gateway
Las Vegas, Nevada (January 7, 2008) ? Shift4 Corporation, a leading developer of enterprise payment solutions, and WPS Parking Systems, a member of the Imtech Group, announced today a certified interface to provide the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, California, a complete parking payment solution to process credit cards quickly, accurately and securely.
Integrating Shift4’s DOLLARS ON THE NET® payment system into WPS’s barcode automated parking provides the hotel more processing flexibility than what they would get from most banks and processors. This, in turn, helps provide their customers with better service.
“As we continue to deliver seamless systems to lower our customers’ total cost of ownership, Shift4’s DOLLARS ON THE NET gateway provides the most comprehensive payment processing solution available in the automated parking system industry,” stated Derek Kiley, President, WPS North America, Inc.
By leveraging Shift4’s web-based payment connections to leading processors, the San Jose Doubletree Hotel is able to seamlessly change processors to benefit from better rates and service. This flexibility is available with no disruption to normal business operations and without burdening WPS’s resources.
“Shift4 is proud to partner with WPS as they continue to advance the parking systems industry with high-value and sustainable total technology. We are excited to offer WPS customers a fully integrated payment gateway with the highest level of security, flexibility and reliability to help deliver the most comprehensive parking system in the industry,” stated Dave Oder, President and CEO, Shift4 Corporation.
WPS Parking Systems (www.wps-group.com), a member of the Imtech Group, was founded in 1985 and was the first supplier of automated parking systems to use barcode technology. Among the many advantages of using barcode technology are the low maintenance costs and the exchangeability of components. Since the creation (1989), the WPS-BC200 system has been running under the MS Windows operating system. WPS Parking Systems has grown to be a company of 200 employees with its head quarters and production plant located in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Several WPS branch offices look after local markets along with worldwide spread WPS distributors. Different markets have different needs and the BC200 2 system, being a fully self-developed product, can easily adapt these needs into system features.
