Body Shop of America, Inc. Selects Shift4 for Payment Processing
Las Vegas (May 25, 2007) ? Body Shop of America, Inc., a leading specialty retailer of fashion right apparel, and accessories, has signed a contract with Shift4 Corporation, a leading developer of enterprise payment solutions. This agreement enables Body Shop of America, Inc., to process credit card and mail-order/telephone order (MOTO) transactions quickly, accurately and securely using Shift4’s DOLLARS ON THE NET® web-based payment gateway.
DOLLARS ON THE NET provides high-speed and low-cost authorizations and settlements for credit, debit, check, private label and gift card transactions. Based on Tokenization technology invented by Shift4, this system offers world class transaction security by removing all usable personal card data from the entire transaction process, including point-of-sale devices.
“Body Shop of America, Inc., wants its customers to be confident that their personal credit card data is protected when shopping with us in store, online or through our catalog. In today’s dynamic world of technology it is becoming easier for hackers to get into systems. Shift4 recognizes that retail merchants are at risk from hackers and other data thieves, and as a result, ensures that their services are designed to counter these threats and safeguard the customer’s and merchant’s data.” said Jerry Kerr, CIO, Body Shop of America, Inc.
DOLLARS ON THE NET also helps Body Shop of America, Inc., with Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance. This application is certified to be in compliance with all current card association regulations. This solution and Shift4?s redundant data centers are recognized by Visa USA as compliant with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards.
“Working with Body Shop of America, Inc., Shift4 has an opportunity to assist with their infrastructure development by providing a comprehensive solution that delivers best-of-breed security, fraud controls and enterprise-wide, real-time reporting,” said Deborah Bocchio, Shift4 Manager, Business Development, Retail.
