VeriFone 550

As with the VeriFone 501, reset the VeriFone 550 by unplugging and then plugging in the power cord again. The line speed (baud rate) and port setting are displayed at boot up. It is important that these settings match the corresponding settings in the UTG Stub or the UTG.

NOTE The Tip 1 option prompts the customer to enter a tip amount manually; the Tip 2 option allows the customer to choose between a preset tip amount or a manually-entered tip amount.
